EBHS 2021 Virtual Conference

Welcome to the EBHS 2021 Virtual Conference, held from May 18 to May 21! The conference will offer keynotes for each of the conference days. To avoid Zoom fatigue, the schedule for concurrent sessions will be lighter than usual and the event will be spread over four days. Program and Etiquette

The latest version of the conference program with Zoom links and passwords included has been sent by email to participants. As there may be minor changes remaining to the program, you can view the latest version on our program page before the conference starts next week, but the Zoom passwords and links will remain the same for the sessions as they are scheduled.

Please also check the EBHS Professional Conduct Policy. All members and participants, including contractors, vendors, volunteers and guests at EBHS activities are expected to abide by this professional conduct policy in all meeting venues, including ancillary events, official and unofficial social gatherings, and on social media.

Information for Presenters

Unlike in our previous instructions, presenters are reminded that papers are given 25 minutes each in the program, 15-20 minutes to present and 5-10 minutes for questions, and all the sessions will take place on Zoom. Slides are welcome, and the sharing screen option in Zoom makes presenting simple. Ahead of your session you may want to contact your session chair and share your paper (if you have prepared one). You may also want to share your paper with the rest of your panel presenters.

As all the presentations are online, you are advised to check your connectivity, microphone and webcam ahead of your session. You may also want to download the Zoom app to your computer, and you can also use the Zoom web interface in your internet browser.

Information for Session Chairs

Session Chairs should contact their panel presenters ahead of the session to introduce themselves, and collect any papers ahead of the session and any biographical information they want to gather to introduce the presenters at the panel.
