Author Guidelines

Proposals for presentations on any aspect of economic or business history are welcome. We also welcome proposals for whole panels, typically of three presentations. Proposals should include an abstract of no more than 500 words, a brief curriculum vitae, postal and email addresses, and telephone and fax numbers. We welcome submissions from graduate students and non-academic affiliates.

When submitting a proposal with our online service, you are first guided through setting an account (in case you don't already have one). Please include your postal and email addresses and telephone and fax numbers there.

Next you are asked to fill out a submission preparation checklist and to accept our copyright notice. You may also enter comments concerning your submission to the conference director.

You may then enter the the authors, title, abstract and keywords of your proposal.

Please upload the brief curriculum vitae as a supplementary file in the stage three of the submission process.

Finally, you are asked to confirm the details of your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
